In our expanding electrical engineering department, we are looking for a junior Electrical technician to be based at our facilities in Nicosia, Cyprus.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain and repair electrical control, wiring, and automation related systems.
- Perform general electrical maintenance.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
- Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
- Terminate wires in electrical enclosures.
- Build small-scale in-house electrical enclosures.
- Work with pneumatic components and build pneumatic assemblies.
- Perform any other tasks as assigned by the line manager.
Skills – qualifications:
Required
- Completion of electrician apprenticeship.
- High school diploma or electrician degree from a technical school or higher education degree.
- Ability to read and understand technical diagrams and blueprints
- Some knowledge in electrical and automation related systems.
- Some experience (<3 years) in working as an electrician.
- English and Greek language.
- Valid driver's license.
- Mobility to travel abroad.
Would be considered an advantage
- Deep knowledge in electrical systems and power generation.
- >3 years’ experience in working as an electrician.
- Experience in working with electrical enclosures for industrial applications
- Experience in working with pneumatic components and systems.
