In our expanding electrical engineering department, we are looking for a junior Electrical technician to be based at our facilities in Nicosia, Cyprus.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain and repair electrical control, wiring, and automation related systems.
• Perform general electrical maintenance.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
• Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
• Terminate wires in electrical enclosures.
• Build small-scale in-house electrical enclosures.
• Work with pneumatic components and build pneumatic assemblies.
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by the line manager.

Skills – qualifications:

Required

• Completion of electrician apprenticeship.
• High school diploma or electrician degree from a technical school or higher education degree.
• Ability to read and understand technical diagrams and blueprints
• Some knowledge in electrical and automation related systems.
• Some experience (<3 years) in working as an electrician.
• English and Greek language.
• Valid driver's license.
• Mobility to travel abroad.

Would be considered an advantage

• Deep knowledge in electrical systems and power generation.
• >3 years’ experience in working as an electrician.
• Experience in working with electrical enclosures for industrial applications
• Experience in working with pneumatic components and systems.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing day-to-day manufacturing operations, including production, supply chain management, inventory and quality control.
• Developing, overseeing, and monitoring budget and production targets.
• Analyzing production data and creating manufacturing reports to identify any problems or potential improvement areas.
• Maintaining an accurate inventory of materials and products.
• Ensuring that all staffing needs are met in a timely manner, and that all employees have the necessary training and resources to do their jobs effectively.
• Coordinating with other departments, such as finance, technical and sales.
• Developing policies and procedures to ensure the smooth running of manufacturing production and materials flow.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience of min. 5 years as Operations Manager in manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and management skills- proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of industry-specific safety standards and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in using manufacturing management software (e.g., ERP systems, AUTOCAD for P&IDs etc) – Microsoft Office Suite – Especially Excel
• Project management proven experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong accountability and sense of responsibility
• Team oriented to coordinate different departments.
• Fluent in Greek and English languages (Greek is required).
