Christakis Agathangelou Ltd is an industry leader in supplying the dairy industry with all types of dairy equipment.

Christakis Agathangelou returned to Cyprus from Italy where he was working as a service installation engineer. It was at this time, after years of service that he decided to focus on the Dairy industry of Cyprus, by tailor-making professional equipment.

In January 1976 after civil unrest which led to the loss of his factory in Mia Milia, Nicosia, Christakis registered his new company Christakis Agathangelou Ltd. which specialised in the manufacturing of industrial stainless-steel tanks and food processing machinery. This was the first stainless steel equipment manufacturing company on the island of Cyprus.

Angelos Agathangelou - the eldest son of the founder - joined the company as a mechanical engineer after completing his studies.

Angelos took over the management of the company in 1997 and implemented a policy of growth and development. His goal was to become the number one supplier for the now rapidly growing food-processing industry. Michalis Michael and Marios Christou jointed the company as Mechanical Engineers and assisted with the growth and development of the company both locally and globally.

In 2001 the company transformed from a family business to a partnership, to accommodate the expansion of the firm. Michalis Michael and Marios Christou purchased shares in the company and the additional funds were re-invested into the company for its international expansion.

The company began exporting equipment and installing dairy plants, primarily in the Middle East.

In 2005, the company expanded further, building an assembly and manufacturing company in Jordan. Called Jordan Stainless Steel, the company supplies European technology at competitive prices to neighbouring Middle Eastern and African industries, mainly tanks for the food industry.

Christakis Agathangelou the eldest son of Angelos (3rd Generation) joined the company as a mechanical engineer after completing his studies.

The first Semi-Automatic Halloumi production line was designed and sold.
