Mechanical Installations & Commissioning Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Install mechanical dairy production systems at the customer site, within specifications, on time, with quality exceeding the customers’ expectations.
  • Review equipment submittals of commissioning scope of systems and approved compliance of the systems/equipment as per the project requirements
  • Assist procurement personnel in procuring mechanical equipment, materials and services, ensuring that the work produced complies with customer objectives and procedures
  • Verifying that the submittals for all equipment to be commissioned satisfy the requirements
  • Monitors, verifies and reports on mechanical commissioning activities concerning compliance with the project schedules
  • Responsible for identifying potential employer claims (back charges) and out of scope issues
  • Receive Project documentation and understand Scope of Work related to the discipline
  • Lead a team to undertake commissioning activities and interface with other disciplines to ensure integration of activities
  • Prepare method statements, procedures and routines as required
  • Report on work progress, bringing to notice the potential problems or delays and recommend solutions
  • Perform inter-discipline checks and ensure compliance in accordance with HSE Standard

Requirements

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent of 5+ years’ overall construction and commissioning experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience, including Large Scale manufacturing construction projects
  • Excellent written in Greek and English (reports and required documentation)
  • Familiarity with operations in the dairy industry will be a plus.
  • Answer customer questions and assist customers in a professional manner
  • The ability to work well under pressure
  • Team working skills
  • Relevant technical expertise (for example in test, design, development and operations)
  • Ability to cope with shift work and traveling abroad, where equipment is in 24-hour operation.

Welder (Welding Specialist)

Location: Nicosia

Job Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

  • Weld small and large stainless-steel components for machinery and pipelines.
  • Assemble and fit various stainless-steel components.
  • Inspect welded surfaces for errors.
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations.
  • Weld in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
  • Take responsibility for work quality up to the shipping stage.
  • Complete reports and logs accurately and on time.
  • Perform onsite work as needed.

Requirements:

  • Basic understanding of mechanical production drawings.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment, and manual tools.
  • Attention to detail.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Welding certification preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of welding experience.
